This shoot was interesting for me, because the day of the shoot, the weather was not on my side. A thunderstorm was threatening and more then once, I had to just laugh at the wind that blew at our hair and clothes, but Kevin and Katy were troopers and took everything in stride. All the while driving to our rendez-vous I worried about her hair and hoped that it would fair all that blowing. I completely forgot about my own hair tried my best during the night not to eat it. Haha. We managed, had fun and got some great shots.
Meet Kevin and Katy.
Occasionally, I was able to make the wind work for me.
I couldn't resist putting this photo in the mix. These cows just crack me up...they got so nosey and lined right up to see all that was going on.
Katy...you are gorge!
Kevin brought his guitar along and I was so glad that he did. I asked him to take it out and play while we stood in this massive field of grass. Katy urged him to play the song he had written while she and I stood together. When he started to play I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and the only thing I could hear was the beautiful melody of his guitar and the grass that blew around my knees. I felt totally content in that moment and didn't want to move.
You guys were awesome!! I can't wait til September!

Jamison :: Senior
So...I went to post an engagement sneak peek on the blog tonight and discovered...I still was holding out on the last sneak peak I had published!! I thought I had already posted Jamisons photos. Ugh! Well...the wait has been too long already, no more gabbing.
Here are my favorites of the day, I loved working with him. Relaxed, fun and great photos. Love. Love. Love!
Just loved all these and couldn't decide.
Love these...I told him he looked like the kid from Peanuts who plays the piano. Schroeder?
