Summer lovelyness

I do love summer and all the craziness it brings my way but very few times do I get to slow down. I was able to have one of those times a few days ago on set of the up and coming film, The Last Rider.  It's rehearsal time, so actors, people and horse, came together for a day of riding and fun. I love being set photographer.  Having no restrictions and photographing in the zone is just what the doctor ordered! Happy Monday!

The Last Rider :: Personal

I have the opportunity and pleasure to participate in the making of the movie, The Last Rider, this summer. I've read the screen play and heard the vision of the director and I'm quite impressed. This summer I have the amazing privilege to shoot on a movie set! I have worked with director Sebastian Keck on other projects before, it's been such a great experience and way too much fun! Dear Summer at the Beach, It's just been way too long...

A muffin

Oh my...it's just been so long! So much has been going on since my last post, but unfortunately, the blog has been simmering on the back burner.
I was recently in SC again, visiting family and enjoying the sunny weather. As I'm looking at the slushie rain that's pouring down outside, I'm wondering why I got on the plane back to Chicago! While I was visiting Omi and Opa, my aunt, uncle and two little cousins came to visit. It was the first time a got to meet Matthew and I think it was love at first sight. Cousin Sarah, doing a puzzle with Opa. Such a chunk! Happy little family. It's obvious who his favorite person is! My favorite Omi and Opa!

O, Christmas Tree!!

Having my sister back in town for a few days on break, the famfam took advantage of being together again. We trooped out and found the perfect little/big tree. "It's not such a bad little tree. All it needs is a little love!" Charlie Brown Christmas movie must happen soon!

For whatever the reason, twice this week I've had my camera with me when these amazing sunsets were happening. Love sunsets. One in my neighborhood and one driving home from Nashville!

Apples and Doughnuts

Without a doubt, fall is my favorite season. From smelling the crisp air to eating all the fresh fruits and vegetables I can get, I love this season. I don't necessarily love what comes next, but for now i'm content. Especially, when I can get my hands on apple cider doughnuts. :)
