Scott and Tina :: Engaged!!

Beth asked me to help her shoot Scott and Tinas engagement session, but don't say ANYTHING, because she just thinks they are photos for the parents. Scott, the brilliant romantic that he is, informed us that he intended to propose to Tina under the guise of a casual photo session. Um...YES! The whole experience was just so sweet and touching, i'm pretty sure I was on the verge of tears the entire time! Congratulations Scott and Tina, I can't wait for your wedding day! Dan and Samantha :: Engaged!!

Upon meeting Dan and Samantha, I liked them, a lot. He is the quieter one and she bubbles with joy and smiles. As we talked about their meeting, engagement, wedding, hobbies and more wedding I got the sense at how well paired they are. They love the country (me too), the simple life and pleasures (me too) and most of all, they love to fish! (I can't say, me too, on this one but if I owned a pole, i'm sure I would like it :)) As always, it's such a pleasure to meet new people and be invited in to have part in such a special day. Dan and Samantha, I so enjoyed working with you ahead of time and getting to know you even better before your wedding day approaches. Thank you again for trusting me to document you wedding and your love.

Samantha choose two locations for the engagement shoot. #1 An old pump station for a 50's theme (awesome!!) and #2 a pond out in the country where they often fish Hello! Gone fishing :) Great subjects! Great sun! Great day!! Can't wait for September!

Kevin & Nicole :: Save the Date!

Kevin, Nicole and I trooped out in the cold on Sunday to take just a few photos.  Although she looked stunning in her cream dress and he, dashing, in his suspenders, we're holding out for those gorgeous spring colors for a full blown engagement session. Here are just a few. Nicole even had a save-the-date banner made. So cute! 

I'm super excited for our shoot in the spring and of course for 06.01.12!

Cheyne and Sarah :: Engaged!

I think from the moment I met them at the park they were making me laugh, Cheyne especially. I don't know what it was, a goofy face or a crazy comment, but Sarah and I were giggling the whole time. As I edited these photos, I was struck again at how well these two fit together.  I'm so excited for you, Cheyne and Sarah, as you start this new chapter of your lives, together and i'm quite positive that If you can keep the sense of humor that I got just a small taste of,  you'll do just fine. Can you see what i'm talking about?? Love. Such big beautiful trees. Two weeks!! Can't wait!
